Perhaps the next biggest contributor to CHS's Championship title , good captain's don't come easily but fortunately , we have one in Darrell. Carefree on the outside , serious on the inside. Darrell's willingness to lead the others and to resort to unorthodox measures to bond the team is inspiring. Organising the camp to forming the team dance , Darrell has really stepped up as a Captain to lead the team. Unselfishly helping the team in many ways , only those appreciative will know of his contributions to the team.

Both a leader off-court and on-court , Darrell possesses a dangerous drag shot , a sick range of shots and magical dribbling skills. For what he lacks in stamina , he makes up with determination and hard work. Despite being an important member of Line 1 , for some reasons not to be mentioned , he selflessly switched places with Ryan. Leading Line 2 in both offense and defense , Darrell scored 16 goals to be 3rd in the top-scorer list and defended valiantly against tough opponents. Being able to physical with any player , dribble past players with utmost ease and pulling off wicked drag shots from far , as seen in the finals where he score a superb solo effort , Darrell's versatility proved crucial to the team as he began to become a pivotal role in line 2.

Never grumbling [only to me] when his line doesn't play well , never grumbling when he doesn't score goals , never grumbling when he doesn't get the limelight [again only to me] , Darrell continuously strives on helping his line by teaching them constantly and reminding them like a mentor. Darrell's selfless display of contribution to the team can never be doubted. Always conjuring up inspiring speeches to the team when in need , Darrell has also helped everyone in the team to be brought back down to earth whenever need be , and most importantly inspire us to play beyong our limits.

Although he might fail sometimes in his airhooking endeavours , he is still the undoubted airhooking king in our team as can be seen from his title given to him in the 3on3 competition where he airhooked continuously for 3 minutes. Always cracking jokes outside of court , but always making the opponents look like a joke as well , Darrell is an important piece in our CHS jigsaw puzzle. Without him , the puzzle being us would just collapse and crumble into pieces.

As the dictionary aptly explains the true meaning of being a Captain -
a person who is at the head of or in authority over others; chief; leader.

Darrell lives up to that title word for word both on and off court. Thank you on behalf of the team for all the effort you have put in for the team and your unlimitless contributions.
